The Dresses for Haiti
project I worked on,
somehow my focus shifted
and the dozen ended
up being dresses for
Alabama.

Not much, really,
in the face of such devastation,
but it's what I do
and maybe there are
little girls in Alabama
who will know
that someone cares?
