Hi Lisa! I enjoy your blog so much!!! This photo was the product of a workshop I took at Artistic Artifacts in Alexandria, VA. We got a piece of muslin. We soaked it with a mixture of half Elmer's glue and half water. Then we layered torn pages from books and torn wrapping paper. Soaked that with the glue mixture. Next, layered torn tissue paper and torn bits of single layers of fancy napkins. And soaked that with the glue mixture. We hung them to dry and voila! I can't wait to cut it up and weave it or stitch it! If you give me your e-mail address I'll send you photos of the other pieces I did. XO Donna
